My first day at Nagoya

Hello! こんにちは! 안녕하세요~
My name is Woori, and I am the international intern from 2018. November~ 2019. May in GRIT!

It has already been three weeks since I came to Japan. Time is FLYING! Really. I have my own blog from now on, and I am going to write about wonderful experience until I am here.

And today, I will talk about the day I came to Nagoya on November 24. When I got to the airport, it had been raining and very dark in Korea.

The rain made me very very.. NOT sad! not at all. I was just so excited about what will happen? what kind of people I will meet? and most important, what will I eat??:D

Well, my friend told me this later, that the rain was changed to snow! It was first snow this year in Seoul when I arrived in Japan.

I wish I can see snow in Nagoya someday.

When it was snowing heavily in Korea, I was meeting new friends in warm Nagoya. Before I come to Japan I was heard from my TN manager, Aoi that four people will go to the airport. But… Surprise, surprise!
Seven AIESEC members came to the airport to see me.

very nice to meet you all guys!

Including me, about eight people were there. Yeah! We were a large group, so we couldn’t even sit all together in the lunch time. I was so welcomed by the AIESEC members, thanks to all!

After eating lunch with AIESEC members, I went to Nagoya station where I met Rie san for the first time. She took me to where the GRIT! members existed.

It was a gym, not the office!

As I found out, they were in the middle of sport competition. When I arrived there, they started to run very enthusiastically, and enthusiastically fell down… Are you okay??

After dinner, I visited the GRIT! office, where I will work for next 6 months. When I arrived there I was stunned by the big sound, a bark sound! There were three big dogs, Ume, Niko and Huku. I knew there are dogs in advance but honestly, I was a little bit scared at first because they are bigger than I thought and also imagined what if they bite me?

But as time passes by I am fully adjust to these dogs, and now they are in charge of my healing time. These lovely dogs also remind me of parrots in my home in Korea.

He is very lovely parrot!

After visiting GRIT! office, I cleaned my luggage and fell asleep like a baby. It was really long day and extremely excited. I wish I can make great memories with nice people!
Thanks to everyone welcomed me warmly.
